Last breakfast of scrambled egg and baguette before we were dropped at the airport for our Cathay Pacific flight to Hong Kong at 10.30. The check in lady felt sorry for me and my long legs so got pulled over at boarding point and told we had been moved to the "legroom seats" as no-one had wanted to purchase them! Woo hoo - too bad I couldn't expect the same on the long haul trip from Hong Kong to Vancouver! Long and tiring trip home and Cathay Pacific were no real rave for me - after all these years of hearing how wonderful they were! Yes staff were friendly and food not bad so who could complain!

Wow, what a wonderful 3 month journey we have had. Both of us experiencing life in Asia for the first time and we really enjoyed the way that we traveled - so easy to be an independent traveler and get around Asia. Some areas are very touristy but on the whole we just loved the experience and the chance to do this! Planning starts for the next trip! South America? Maybe.........thanks to my dearest hubbie for putting up with me for 3 months straight with no breaks!
