Love our hostel! Our first day in Prague Czech Republic was Saturday 3/31 . 

Our hostel is called "CZECH INN". We shared our dorm room with two young dudes from Israel and four guys from England. All in early 20's. Yep I was room mother and told them to keep it clean and no late parties (really I was joking but language barrier may have scared the two Israelis, they just smiled a lot and shook their heads. 



Funny as last night Mike and I stayed in the downstairs Pub until 12:30 AM - hey we were playing Pub trivia on a team and drinking White Russians. So we came into our room late and the guys were trying to sleep. I had the giggles caused by those white Russians I was indulging in which made my bed spin. Whoopsie :)

 

Oh and notice in the photo that due to my fear of heights, Mike got the top bunk! I had the bottom.
 


 Monday 4/2/12
 

 We toured Prague and we ended up at a park and climbed up a dirt trail high above the city for an amazing view. We worked our way to St. Vitus Cathedral and the Prague Castle, wow. We had our first gelato of the trip and then we went to dinner. Mike had goulash and I had Kuba a barley with mushrooms dish . It was very good. then we went and played pub trivia...again. Mike loves the beer as they only cost about one dollar USD.



 Tuesday 4/3/12 -5th day of vacation. 


We sat on Karlov Mosta (Charles Bridge) in Prague. One of the major highlights. We decided to enjoy the sunshine, take off my shoes, roll up the pant legs and just people watch. Funny that we had more stares at us then we stared at others. We should have placed some CZK Korunas (Czech money) in my shoes and see if we could earn enough for dinner.

 

And I know you will freak out but we have had the same EXACT clothes from head to toe, yep even socks, bra and undies, on since Friday morning in Des Moines. Nope not gross. Gold Bond powder is our BFF!

Off to Vienna Austria on Wednesday 4/4. Long bus ride but countryside will be nice to look at.
