After saying farewell to the Prince we headed off to Kalbarri stopping at all the coastal lookouts and tourist views along the way.
Particularly striking is the Natural Bridge which is included in the photos
. Kalbarri was sporting quite a different look with the river very swollen and muddy and many of the cray boats not in the harbour due to the recent Cyclone. When we went out to the gorges the after effects of the cyclone also became apparent with the river a deep set of chocolate rapids rushing through trees and making high water marks in the gorge.
We headed out of town at dusk and got a few kilometres under our belt before camping at a free camp (Nerang Nerang) on the road to our next destination Monkey Mia.
