New Providence Island, Bahamas
I'm happy to report I have woken up to sunshine and partial cloudy skys, the temp is supposed to be a bit cooler 20 / 21 C but that's okay it's nice to see the sunshine.

I'm stiff from my last 2 days of working out so stretching and walking this morning then shower and off to town our car is booked between 1 and 3 .

The skipper wants to wash the boat down today and do the windows, im going to get some pictures uploaded and music downloading ;-) Turns out the day so far has been a nice mix of chores and relaxing for me, this is a beautiful peaceful place to blog, read and relax. The skipper has been full out choring it but he loves that sort of thing, cleaning and cleaning and doing something with the generator to minimize rust issues. We enjoyed an hour walk this morning before things started, exploring the area surrounding this community, there was a small grocery store and fun little corner store which sold Chilly Willy...can you guess what that is? Turns out the day has been a good mix of chores and sun you just never know about these forecasts. It's not real hot but definitely shorts and tank weather. I spent some good quality time cleaning the guest cabin in preparation for Craig and Marjorie's arrival on Thursday and also cleaning myself with a nice shower! Also had some time for uploading pictures and hope to download some music now . Our road trip with the car was successful bought a few groceries and explored a few shops found the gym it looks good so I'll be spending a couple of hours there tomorrow while Bryan enjoys some hardware store shopping. We are on the East end of the Island and it's very nice the homes here are well kept and there are several gated communities not unlike this Palm Cay community. The Island is busy and it's not recommended that you spend any time alone downtown it's a wee bit rough around that area.

The Tiki bar menu was less than exciting for this 1st mate a lot of corn filled burgers, chicken wings etc. so I've decided to cook. We did enjoy a lovely drink and watch the sunset it was stunning although a wee bit breezy. On board the delicacy for this evening was fresh Caesar salad with meat balls our last ones from the whole foods store in Ft. Lauderdale and the starter was Edamame Beans which I have to say I have perfected ;-)

Movie tonight was "Contraband" a very good movie.
