New Providence Island, Bahamas
The gang are having a good sleep which is great after their really long travel day yesterday. Not sure what the plan is today, perhaps a long walk around the condo's and perhaps have a look inside. Bryan has the loaner car booked so I know we will go into town to pickup the scuba tanks.

Its pizza and jazz night here at the marina restaurant so we will enjoy that this evening . Yesterday we checked out the menu at Poop Deck a restaurant down town on the water so we will give that a try perhaps tomorrow night.

We enjoyed a leisurely morning at the coffee shop using the fast internet and visiting with the other boaters. We had a good long talk with a couple who are from Seattle they were both engineers, by the time we left the place was full and even though the weather was grey everyone was chatting lively about their boating adventures it was a great way to start the day. After a gourmet breakfast of eggs and veggies we all went for a walk to explore the beach front condo development. We were lucky enough to get a tour through their show home, right on the beach the view was perfect and the inside was pretty and cottage like. We could all see the construction deficiencies not sure it is worth the 950K they are asking for it, it would appear the Bahamians are not really attention to detail sort of people.

Marjorie and I did a mini workout on board then we all went on a road trip to town . Picked up the scuba tanks and some other items from the marine store then on to explore the fisherman's pier to check out the local catch of the day. This was something to see many stands of locals selling their lobster, crab claws and varies other fish, we didn't buy anything but an interesting experience. The rest afternoon was lazy.

Pizza night was good they made me a corn free pizza crust and the jazz music was really nice. The place was really full lots of happy community people, we were joined by out dock neighbors Don and his wife they are from Calgary it really is a small world. They met the same way Bryan and I did and blended families, he is an engineer too it was funny. So our night was later than most we were all ready for bed at 11:30 such party animals.
