Hope Town, Out Islands, Bahamas
Good morning

We are now a crew of 4, Doug and Patti left early this morning we are all sad to see them leave, but I have to say it was a great 2 week adventure with them . Barb and Mike and I will provision for our week together this morning before we leave. We have a carpet cleaner coming by at 9 to sort out our newly acquired coffee patterns on the carpet :-)

We will moved back over to Seaspray and enjoy Hope Town, this will likely be Bryan and I's last time to Hope Town so I'd like to get some souvenirs, run the stairs of the light house again we will miss this place. I've decided that Elbow Cay is my favorite place in the Abacos I could easily own a home here and we will look forward to coming back to rent one at some point.

++++++++++++

Our provisioning trip was good but our taxi ride or shall I shay rides were eventful, we hopped in a cab to come home from Maxwells informing the cab driver before we got in that we needed to stop at the liquer store he was agitating by this delay but agreed. Once we arrived at the store he informs us that he can't stay and we should get out, he was going to charge us $10 but I informed him that is the cost to get all the way back to the marina so he said $7 and I have him $6 which was still way to much ...he did say he would call us a new cab so out we got with all of our bags of groceries. After the liquer shopping we waited and waited food melting us melting...so we called another lovely lady cabbie who got us home, so the journey was long but in the mission accomplished. We have decided to stay at Seaspray 2 nights the winds are so gusty it just makes more sense this way and gives us lots of time to explore Elbow Cay.

We had a great afternoon walk to Tahiti beach, Barb and I did a little ab routine and we enjoyed watching a guy kite surfing he was just flying along. On our walk back we met up with a nice american guy who was chatting animately about life and his home that he owns on the Island which he rents, so the conversation got to come and have a look...so we did. It was a really nice place sleeps 12 a big pool and bar in the middle, there was a great crows nest look out area the views from atop there were stunning. The price for a week was approximately $7000 and to buy it he was asking 1.4M that appears to be the average price on this Island.

Back at the marina we all enjoyed naps even me holly cow I never nap so I must be falling into a boaters life style. Our cocktail hour started a bit late 5:30 on the cockpit lots of great chatting followed by greek salad and hamburgers. The game of the night was SkipBo that was new to us and we had fun, but we were all in bed by 10 :-)
