Man of War Cay, Hope Town, Bahamas
Good morning and happy Friday everyone.

The morning has been slow but great we are enjoying our yogurt outside on the cockpit it is a sunny slightly less breezy day today . We are enjoying listening and watching the hustle and bustle on the fishing boat beside us they are all very excited about going out to catch some Wahoo or Mahi Mahi...they are brining along a young german boy who they met from one of the neighboring boats... I'd say he was 12 or 13 he is so so excited.

We are planning on going over to Man-O-War Cay to explore that Island it is know for it's boat building. Man-O-War Cay does not allow alcohol on the Island but you can enjoy that on your boat. :-)

Before that we may pop our head out side the reefs to see how the waves are doing on the Atlantic I think it might be a tab breezy still but we will see.

+++++++++++++++++++++

The waters were pretty calm on the inside so Barb and I enjoyed some time on the bow while we cruised over to the opening near Fowl Cay. I now know from experience to get up top before you hit the bigger waves to bumpy and wet to be on the bow :-) It was a bit choppy but in between the reef's by our favorite snorkle spot the swells were calmer so we set anchor . Bryan and I took turns watching the boat while we all enjoyed a good snorkle. This was Barb's first snorkel of the trip and a challenging one it was, Bryan assisted and I'm very proud of her persistence to not give up. There are so many fish and choral in this protected park a must see if you are in the area.

From there we slowly cruised over to Man-O-War cay and got tucked in for the night. We walked around the sleepy little town there is not much here, small grocery store, school, lots of churches, library all the necessities but very quiet. This Cay is known for it's boat building and so there were many mechanic type shops and boat builders. Only one grill with no bar of course as this is a dry Island filled with God Fearing hard working folks. The marina is older but in fairly good shape not sure I trust there dock ladders but the dock hand was friendly and helpful.

Our dinner on board was edamame followed by Pirate Pizza night thanks to the Fun and Games crew and Marjorie and Craig for the Pirate placemats and costume accessories :-) Our game of the night was partner crib, Bryan and Barb against Mike and I...we got skunked! Ugh good thing I'm not in Vegas this winter my gaming luck has not been great hehe.

Followed that with a movie so an 11PM night we are animals!
