Happy Monday - Treasure Cay

Great Guana Cay, Hope Town, Bahamas
Good morning

We are making calls to get the boat repairs organized and having a wonderful breakfast on the water . We are waiting to decide on the plan for the day, we have options depending on whether we stay here in the Abaco or head over to Nassau we will know more later this morning.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++

After a few calls and conversations the decision was made to head over to Treasure Cay, we just set an anchor and dingy'd in, to get a few groceries and search out some wire rope. The crew enjoyed a lunch of cinnamon buns from Florence's bakery which is a highlight of this place. We then decided to stay there over night so we moved into a slip and desalted for the day.

Barb and I walked the gorgeous Treasure Cay beach and Mike enjoyed the shade of a palapa, it was a really long walk to the end and back but oh so beautiful I'm happy we made it back here. A swim to cool off and then a beer at Coco's bar ended our afternoon at the beach.

Back at the boat we enjoyed some appy's and a great dinner of prawns and pasta it was again a great meal.

The fun and games crew had us playing crib again I have to report that Mike and I lost again! It's getting rather funny that I just can't win these games this year.

I should update the repairs information...they have to be done in Ft. Lauderdale so we will limp alone and get there right after Cindy and Rory depart.
