Highbourn Cay, Black Point, Bahamas
Good morning we are up and getting ready to push off the docks to the Exumas. We won't be down there long but wanted to make a stop before we start our treck to the Berry Islands. The weather for the next 3 days looks good but then a north front comes in again, geesh we have had too much of that. So we will soak in the good weather when we can.

The crew is have a good sleep they sure needed that after a very long travel day .

+++++++++++++++++++++++

 Oh what a great day, lots and lots of sunshine it was the hottest day we've had on the trip in the 90's! The cruise over to the Exumas was calm and lovely, as we approached the Exuma Islands we noticed lots more boats and action there were many large yachts making there way to Highbourne Cay which is the first Island in the chain of islands here. I remember the small little Islands so well as we approach them and remembered why I wanted to come back. We anchored near a small patch of coral near Alan's Cay, on our guide map it indicated this would be a good snorkel and yes it sure was. The fish are smaller here but the coral is really nice.

We pulled the anchor and moved around to Highbourne Cay and decided to anchor right near the marina. There were so many huge yachts out here we are not alone but we are definitely the smallest one :-) We spent most of our day on the bow Cindy and I had a good amount of vit D . Before we set anchor for the night we pulled up alongside the fuel dock in the marina to fill up our water again so many gorgeous yachts. There were some fisherman cleaning up their catch and throwing away the scraps this of course caused a huge shark show lots of Nurse sharks apparently there was a bull shark there too but we didn't see it. There were several sting rays swimming around too and Cindy was lucky enough to see one jump out of the water.

We enjoyed another swim before we desalted and took the dingy into the bar at the marina for a drink and appy the food here is amazing but I have to say the bar tender is no more happy then last year. Back at the boat we enjoyed Friday night pizza night, lots of great conversations.

A great first full day with our new crew.

I will post a couple of photo's but will update in a couple of days when we get to wirless.
