Chub Cay, Berry Islands, Bahamas
Good morning and another happy Monday to you all.

We are in Chub Cay as you know and we are pretty much stuck here until the winds settle down, the plan was to leave tomorrow for Great Harbour Cay but doesn't look good now so possibly Wed .

The day will be spent doing laundry, walking, ready and fingers crossed of the sun comes out the pool.

Updater later if the internet lets me :-)

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

 The day went mostly as planned with the exception of the sun we didn't really see any of that all day but it was warm, later in the afternoon it cooled off slightly. Cindy and I did the laundry which we found in the workers town across from the marina the machines were in good condition and worked well. Now to explain this town, it is there for the workers of this marina community. There are row houses and very small buildings which house laundry, restrooms and the Island Shoppe which is the grocery store / library exchange location. There is also a very small building which is the Hill Top Bar we peaked inside and there was a small pool table but it wasn't open I wonder if it is closed for good perhaps tomorrow if we are still here we will venture there in the evening . The feeling is very industrial over on that side and really 3rd world there are no children that we could see anywhere it is there as a working camp.

There is an airport on the Island for private jets to use which is located 2 miles from the marina. On the marina side the development is building really nice cottages and homes which I'm assuming come with a marina slip, they have a bar / restaurant and a small ships store. They are very much still under construction but it's looking really lovely. Polar opposite from the workers area.

Cindy and I after lunch went for another long walk to explore the marina area and smaller beach which we think is Queen's beach then over on the workers side we strolled down a dirt road which flanked a nice beach but how do you get to the beach was the quest. After chatting with a fellow who stopped to see where we were off too we learned you can cut through some of the private property to get there, so off we went and then talked to a couple of local guys who pointed out a trail which did take us to the beach and what a gorgeous beach it was...miles of white sand beach with a very calm bay just beautiful.

There is a blue hole on the island so tomorrow if we are here we will try and rent bikes and check that out it is apparently past the airport an adventure for another day.

The rest of the day was reading and dinner which was on board again we need a night out. Followed by a few rounds of Hearts.
