Good morning oh my I'm a day behind in updating you all...here is how are day played out yesterday.

Enjoyed an early morning we were hoping to go for a dingy adventure through the mangrove forest but the winds were blowing too hard out there and we have a small dingy so nope that didn't happen . The office has cruiser bikes so that was plan B. Our first ride took us into the small town for some provisions, we showed Cindy and Rory the small shops and the all age school. We chatted with one of the teachers of the school they were having a 1/2 day which led them into their week off for spring break, as all teachers are she was lovely. Apparently they have 170 students from K to grade 12 which I thought was a lot this Island is not very big.

Back to the boat to unload our goods then repack for a trip to the beach and beach bar. We looked quickly at the beach near our marina then made out way to the other end of the Island Shell beach. This beach is really shallow at low tide it is just one big sand bar, we enjoyed walking out for a while it was like Parksville beach at low tide only prettier :-)

We chatted with another couple of visitors, everyone on this Island is friendly the locals and the visitors a big reason we like it here . I went for a quick swim to investigate what looked like a possible spot of small coral ...it was grass & garbage...oops.

Off to the Beach Bar for a quick snack and drink...well we thought it might be quick the bar was busy and the service was really slow even for Bahamian Time oh well then back to the dock. It was a great day. After desalting Cindy and I sat happily in the cockpit chatting and reading when our neighbor came by to chat. She was a real hoot very animated sat right down on the docks and started chatting. Her and her husband were around our age and I'm telling you for an 1 1/2 at least she chatted us up it was rather funny but nice :-)  

It was pizza night at the marina so the gang all enjoyed a large meat lovers and I made a small one for my self it was very good.

Entertainment for the night was Crib Skipper and I against the crew and guess what...I actually won!

Early to bed it was a great day.
