Fine & sunny, forecast 10-25deg but by the time we were out on the bikes at 8:30am (brekky at 7:30) it was already a very pleasant 17deg. Not sure it got too much above that, there was a cool breeze all day. 25km ride.
It's nice to get out and just ride with nowhere in particular to go and without the panniers on board . You suddenly feel as though you are stronger and fitter, but it's just the lack of weight.
Had a couple of nice rides around the district. Plenty of people out and about on bikes, walking, rollerblading or mucking about in all sorts of boats. Lunch was just a bread roll and banana at a swimming spot on the lake. No way either of us were getting even our big toes in that freezing (our standard) water but the locals didn't seem to mind.
Dinner was Chinese, ok but not as good as Aussie Chinese, of course.
