Today there are two seminars on the advanced use of the iPad that we went to.
We did have to wedge in between them the visit to the lavish brunch that lasted for three hours from 10 to 1. Anything one could imagine for breakfast or lunch was there.
Well, we did it. We ate four proper meals in one day. Burp! How improper, really.
Tonight after the early show Howard participated in the second flash mob. What fun it was. We did Beat It and Thriller. It began a little like West Side Story. As guests were filing out of the theatre our 'rumble' started and blocked the area people got blocked in the area. Our amazing (but very thin) teacher started it by jostling a female passenger (who is very large and fit) from 'our' side of the foyer, which caused me to step in to defend 'our' side's honour and push did come to shove between the two gangs as we progressed into the music and the flashmob. We had a large audience who applauded at length and have now to contend with our following who want to know when it will happen next. Sh sh sh - nobody knows it is going to be a ballet spoof at the pool in an area where fountains spurt up from the floor, and I have another solo.
The food on this ship is great. We are in the special dining room called Blu, where the food is healthy in that they use no butter or cream, few carbs, few preservatives and is all cooked 'clean and healthy' style. No lack of quantity or flavour though. Every night we still have a choice of three appetizers, two soups, two salads, five main courses and seven deserts, while standard common options always exist in case one cannot find any of this special and gourmet food just what they want.
Tonight we could not resist having double main courses - filet mignon, and lobster ravioli in a creamy rosé sauce. Both were outstanding (O-bomb).
The evening shows also have been great on this cruise, a good bit consistently better that we have seen on recent cruises.
