Those of you that know Parno and Fred, would totally endorse the realisation that both possess and put into place strong community involvement and spirit. Recently, both sat down and contemplated their next project: quickly both unequivocally endorsed pursuing an ambitious project to address the rampant mental health issues pervading society today. Such is their standing in the global community !!

“Let’s go on another trip overseas and treat our readers with much merriment, mirth and factual, unbiased perspectives via a travel blog ....so successfully achieved in the past ...”, suggested Parno. This profound declaration resulting in Fred recovering from the immediate on-set of a choking sensation that engulfed her body. Spontaneously diagnosing, that it was not the trip concept that caused her discomfort, more the other adjectives that were sprouted by Parno. “How could one be so self possessed to think that the copious waffle aforementioned and subsequently published, be a solution to mental health ?” . ......retorted Fred. Wise words, eh ?

Parno’s limited comprehension skills of the Queen’s English (that’s a direct reference to Elizabeth), saw this rather verbose reply from Fred, as a vote of confidence for this project to unfold. "No time to waste: masterpieces to unfold needing much deliberation, consideration and ability", Parno said. So with pencils sharpened, notepad at the ready, another literary hit is about to unfold. A global phenomenon was about to unfold.

Given the numerous successes of the past.... well, I think there was at least one … even if it was in Parno’s own “mind”, the features from those well accepted literary masterpieces from yesteryear will be prominently positioned so as to blissfully distract readers from those daily pressures: “ ... a means to escape ...”, Parno was overheard to say. Fred’s eyes lit up, seizing on this opportunity to suggest "escape?", "good idea, how about you go and check how much is on your Opal Card ?". Perhaps a little cryptic for Parno, it essentially was totally over the top: even, went through to the keeper ....yes Parno was batting at the time.

What’s on offer this time, one must be wondering ? Time in Northern Italy, Southern France, the Somme -Normandy regions concluding with some “tip-toeing through the tulips”, to conclude our European escapades. No it doesn’t conclude there: a quick trip to Russia .... “a Moscow, as far as I’m concerned”, .....Parno has been heard to say. Fred reacting with a shake of her head deciding not to go “Russian in” with an unwise comment.  

From this, a trip to “KL” to watch their son and his lady friend (Liz), compete in the World Cup in touch football. Yes both being selected in their respective National side !! The Emus reign supreme..... well at least we hope. No small feat. Parno is currently learning Malaysian so he can assist the referees with some timely sideline advice during and after the games !! Totally unbiased.

National honours are not all that uncommon in the Parnaby household: true, Parno reluctantly tells of the time that he “swam for Australia”. Yes, a little known fact: obviously modesty has kept a lid on this well kept secret to this point. Good stories though do permeate to the surface.

National honours eh ? It all revolves around the time that his small dinghy was swamped about 500 metres from the Bondi Beach shoreline and he had to swim home. Perhaps you have to think about this ? Apparently, he was proud of his efforts. He is claiming a “PB”. All achieved whilst swimming home.

More to come: the global trotters are soon to depart and so there will be not too many more big sleeps before the regular instalments will unfold. Taken twice a day prior to meals these pending literary masterpieces will cure all ills. 

Time to get packed and ready for the Qatar flight out of Sydney. I just hope Fred doesn’t forget to pack my teddy bear. I’ll be stuffed without it. I guess I could get another one once we land in “Koala Lumpur !”.
