Wuhan, Hubei, China
After breakfast, we flew to Wuhan.

Wǔhàn is the capital of Hubei province and is the most populous city in Central China (over 10 million people) . It lies at the intersection of the middle reaches of the Yangtze and Han rivers.

Wuhan is made up of three districts, Wuchang, Hankou, and Hanyang which were separate cities at one time and are each separated by one of the rivers.

Once there, we visited the Hubei Provincial Museum, where we heard the music of ancient bronze bells. The museum is normally closed on Monday, but Viking was able to arrange for a private viewing for us.

Then we boarded our ship that was docked close to Wuhan’s historic waterfront.

We set sail this evening!
