A spot of work

Jobner, Rajasthan, India
Stopped by in Jobner for a spot of work. Nothing much, just a teeny weeny bit !

I told the guys who I was seeing that I had driven all the way just to meet them. Some three days non stop, I said, straight from Bangalore. Much sniggering , haha and rolling of eyes.

Then I showed them my car standing there with the KA number plate. Their jaws fell. Literally to the floor.

It was a sight to behold.

Did not tell them the truth. Very naughty !!

How many KM so far? have you got your oil change done, especially driving through the desert with all the sand. Pop into a Hyundai dealership and get your filters replaced! Any case the Korean cars are built to run on anything unlike the German or French prima donnas!

About 7000 km and counting.

Thanks. Yes, did that at Bikaner and the guys said it will take me nicely back to Bangalore.

I hope the car was adequately covered in mud, dust and dirt. It could have more effect to the drama. :-) :-)

That's truly a long and winding road especially assuming that you are the only driver behind the steering. all the best for the rest of the journey.

@Vincy - This being India, I could always find somebody to wash my car, or in a few places do it myself. So, no mud and grime - squaky clean !!!

@Asha - Yes, I am the only traveler and driver. Got used to the long hours behind the wheel - part of this trip was to do that anyway. Thanks for the wishes.

Wow, 7000 Kms but indeed million km equivalent for all of us travelled with you, saw the west of India with a new perspective, saw places that we would never see or go otherwise and lived every moment of your journey through your out of the world travelogues.
