Changi Airport is always easy to get around. We landed at about midnight and bought a hot chocolate at Starbucks. Clare and I needed to charge our phones so we found a charging station at some comfy seats and sat reading our books. the plane left at 2.20am, at 2am I looked at the time and we all got up and ran. They were waiting for us at the gate. With apologies we rushed on and found our seats. The plane wasn't very full so as soon as the doors closed Clare and I jumped up and snared ourselves a full row each. Once we were up a flying I lay down and had a few hours sleep.
It was nice to touch down in Perth and be home. The new arrivals hall at the airport is greatly improved, with work still being carried out. With little to declare we were soon out. Linda had bought her grandson a cute little coolie hat which they need to check out, but all was good.
A great holiday, with great company to a fantastic city. But it is always wonderful to get home and smell the gum trees and enjoy our beautiful bush.
