How could one person do all that....impossible

Rome, Georgia, United States
Our last day here, headed to the Vatican museum to go through the Sistine Chapel. The line was long and while you wait, dozens of guides come by with the same sign ,"Skip the line", we opted not to. It went quickly and mobs of people are cattled in at $32 a person, all different languages, all shapes and sizes. When you get into th e chapel you can stand as long as you like, it is fascinating, how did one man created all this.....amazing. We got a panini and sat in the garden, a guide and two students sat next to us and we shared in his talk about the chapel. We then toured the other sections of the museum. We went toSt. Peter's but the line to enter the basilica was very.very long. So we decided to walk and have a gelato instead.
Tonight we head to our friend Patrizia' s whom we met in the Domenican Republic, the same time we met Sonia and Stefano, she visited us in Florida this past winter .What a wonderful finale to this great vacation, dinner with Patrizia, Claudio,Martina,Alessia and Bianca - a terrific group to be with on our last night. Patrizia cooked a feast, first, mozzarella, prosciutto, and melon. Followed by rigatoni and sausage in delicious tomato sauce, then Italian green beans, chicken and potatoes, roasted peppers and great bread. Followed with miniature pastries. An evening of great conversation, laughter and wonderful company. Her daughters are so beautiful, warm, and fun to be with, we are delighted that Martina will be coming to New York and hope she spends time with us. A perfect ending, a wonderful Italian family , our friends, how lucky are we. New York here we come........
