Shuttle bus takes us to Temple Bar area. Walked by Irish Hall of Fame recognized just one. Met up with tour guide for Secret Food Tour. Linda, an usual Dubliner, ring nose, gothic makeup, long decorated dreadlocks, black attire save for scarf, cocktail”chiffon skirt contrasting with military style boots which we follow on the wet cobblestones streets. But she is well spoken and knowledgeable.

2. Burdock Fish and Chips- a different style smoked and so tasty
3. Fallon and Byrne- a gourmet delight, we taste various goat cheeses and sliced meats(aka Italian salami)in this wonderful shop
4. Celtic Whiskey Shop- given a quick history how the Scots took over distillery business but the Irish are getting it back. We try two whiskeys( ugh!) and a creamy one , Moon Swan(mmm) none of which are exported to USA
5.Hairy Lemon Pub ,CJC has a Guinness pie .MAC chooses vegetable stew. Clean plates on both,served with homemade brown bread and Irish butter.. No dinner tonight
6. Murphy's Ice Cream, we get to taste several flavors and choose one, I settle on butterscotch he picks Dingle Sea Salt
