Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan
Michael departs early for Singapore, we taxi to the port for the Diamond Princess.  Yokohama is a huge, bustling area.  The Sail Away is wonderful.  A huge park alongside the pier is filled with locals which include 6 brides.  At our departure they all yell and wave.  The Love Boat horn blows and off we set into the Sea of Japan heading north.Surprisingly, the ship’s population has shifted.  This weeek there are more Americans than Japanese.Dinner is delicious, we are joined by a very lively Australian duo.  Show is the Checkerboard Guy, Charles beats him in a game of rock, paper, scissors and receives the  card in the photo.
Sea day tomorrow.  No blog.

Any issues with getting on the ship? I’m kind of bummed there are more English speaking people than Japanese on the ship, I wanted it to be just you and dad surrounded by Japanese for a week plus…would have made for more interesting moments!
