One Hundred Line Dancers

Palermo, Buenos Aires, Argentina
At yesterday’s  lunch we encountered a lively group, turns out they are a national club of line dancers and are on our cruise. We’d come across the group as we toured and shout out greetings!  On the ship their animated chatter showcased their location.  They welcomed us with Asian luck bracelets !!! Line dancing is on our agenda….
Palermo was a perfect location to explore.  Filled with numerous cafes and young people. However, one must tread carefully as each building has its own sidewalk medium  which creates a jigsaw puzzle for your steps.  Caution increased by the huge sidewalk trees which take up 1/2 of the pavement creating a lofty canopy.  Plus one additional ingredient -an abundance of dogs and their walkers

Ubered to the port and had a magical sunset for our sail away on Celebrity Eclipse. We all agreed that we’d so enjoyed this vibrant city and wished we’d extended our stay here.

A:  bookstores- beautiful one with cafes
Q. Price for 2 handmade empanadas at “dos hermanos” , a tiny shop where the guys would indulge in a snack.
*Funny anecdote:last photo- city’s concrete benches mimic a tufted cushion

Argentina seems to have a large Italian influence. Whenever Argentina plays soccer, I notice their last names sound Italian. $5 for two Empananadas?
