Santos, State of São Paulo, Brazil
The bustling port , Santos greets us, a multitude of cranes, shipping containers, train cars etc which comprise this industrial site. Buses transport us to the gate, we Uber.  Destination-Coffee Museum, a beautiful city centre edifice. As we enter the trading area, we encounter a kindergarten class, learning about coffee production via a felt board.  The impressive room contains high back carved chairs with individual tables. Here coffee & beans were tasted and priced.  This process was the core of their economy.
We explore , various unique displays and objects. Transporting us to the cafes, >counters> cafes again. Expresso originated when agility and turnover were desired.
The colonato was their work system- immigrants would receive a block of trees and paid according to production. The coffee industry had numerous components, growers, collectors, seamstresses, sorters, stevedores, and the powerful men who determined the market price.
We end our visit with cafe de museo and a short walk
