Arrived in the afternoon, port city, easy entry to the Pile Gate to meet our walking tour. So does the title mean
A) the number of passengers exiting the ship
B) the number of steps climbed during the walking tour
C) the number of islands on the Croatia coast
We met our lovely tour guide, 24 of us, Marija was taking us to the walled city
. 14 Kuna for entrance. The entrance was jammed with tourists, quite a mob scene. We walked up and down, steep inclines, worn stairways, fantastic views of the water, lots of historical facts about this country's history and the war in the 1990's. We even saw some ruins that have yet to be repaired. We learned about "jugo" the wind that comes from the south and gives headaches to the locals, besides bringing rain and humidity
Phil had a slight medical distraction, choking on a menthol life saver. Frightening but in minutes he was fine. The rest of us were warm and exhausted from the climb. We relaxed in a cafe by the water and we called Michael via what's app and talked to him as he was entering the Jets game.
Check out our photos from the city here where they filmed the first season of games of thrones, the Red Keep and Blackwater Bay at King's landing. The officials in the town took the Kings chair from the show, the citizens think HBO never came back because of this....

Survivor city!! You can still find bullets lodged in the walls of the city! People are friendly, but they complain about the cost of living. The hole in the middle of the lifesaver was placed there by its maker. As the story goes, his grandchild choked on a candy charm sans the hole. Thus, the name lifesaver! Hope Phil is fine!

Don't you mean "Arrived in the afternoon, Kings Landing... " instead of port city? Pictures look great

Looks wonderful! Good thing you're in good shape for all those stairs! No more hard candy for Phil!

I'm proud of all of you! I know that I would have been totally exhausted with the climb.
