Windmills in the white city

Mykonos Town, Cyclades, Greece
The port greeted us once again with sunshine after a nights rain. The locals were busy sweeping the streets , everything is whiter than white.... We walked through, up and down narrows streets, pavements whitened too. Here some of the tops are red creating a different effect. We are now eating in an outdoor cafe by the water, Raya that my friend Sandra recommended. Finally, grilled octopus and Greek salad and unusual chicken meatballs. Small churches dot the pathways, unique stores, we pass an outdoor art gallery a horse made of driftwood(could be a Florida project)

We climb to the windmills, non- functional but picturesque . We are located now in Little Venice.....there is an old man playing what looks like a goat's bladder. We enjoy walking through streets covered in bougainvillea, music in background. I remember little of my visit here years ago but do wish we had more time to spend here. Tomorrow is our last stop before we head back to Venice and home

I must thank and acknowledge Phil for many of our beautiful photos, he has the gift for taking memorable shots!!

This part of the trip looks amazing and makes me want to take a cruise in Greece. It's sad they are in such a bad state right now.

I remember when we all went to Mykonos Gardens. What a great family trip. Dad ordered Kreatopita, Mom you ordered Spanakopita, Mike ate some Pita bread, and Steve ordered 3 or 4 things. I can't remember what I ate. What happened to that restaurant in RVC? I'm hungry now.
