Olympia, Peloponnese, Greece
Docked at this sleepy town on the mainland, first reaction is that it doesn't look like Greece. Trees dot the landscape along with small, flat cubular shaped homes, no charm whatsoever. The draw here is to travel and see the site of the first Olympic Games, we reject that journey. Charles gets to hold a replica of the torch and that is enough. We take a ridiculous ride on a wagon along the beach, the driver sings for us and we provide background and it turns out to be fun. The scenery is awful, muddy beach, brownish water.....

We shop along the port, I'm hard pressed to make any purchase . We go back to the ship for lunch. Right now we are sitting at a waterside cafe, the Internet signals are not strong enough to send photos , will add those on later, right now you will have to use your imagination
It has been a great trip.....

I'll sign off with this idiom, gallina vecchia fa Buon brodo
An old chicken makes a good soup!!! Love, an old chicken xoxo

Sometimes the charm about things is the utter lack of charm? Works for me!
