Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands
Arrived in Barcelona at noon , easy flight. Taxied to our bed and breakfast in the Born district. This ancient section of the city is wonderful and unique. The main street is where the medieval jousts were held. It is populated by the young, restaurants, bars, beautiful shops, outdoor cafes, lots of thigh tattoos, a great place to people watch. After a short siesta we headed out, walked around ,shared a delicious lunch, headed to Las Rambla and back, the area is Alive with people and music but these old folks are just Dead tired with jet lag

Title, Half an orange- the Spainards refer to soul mates as an orange and I'm lucky to be traveling with mine .
