Dulce de leche is a goopy caramel concoction made from boiling to death, vanilla flavoured milk and sugar. It's eaten with a spoon or spread over your favourite cakes or biscuits. They say that every Argentine in the world loves it. So do I.

I've just spent two full hours sitting at a table trying to find words to describe one of the most beautiful cities in the entire world and all I can think of is bloody dulce de leche . I feel like a fool.

I'm going to blame it on excessive urban hiking, with little sleep, and try harder when we return to Buenos Aires in a few weeks.
