Stepantsminda, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Georgia
Elenka and I hooked up with a couple of British gals who we shared a taxi ride with to the pleasant valley town of Stepantsminda, deep in the Caucasus Mountains. We’re at an altitude of around 1,700 metres and it’s quite cool when the sun isn’t shining. On the downside, there are probably as many cows and horses walking the streets as there are people. So you do need to watch your step.
