Copenhagen, Denmark
We spent most of the day walking the town and covered some 13 kilometres, felt it a little after not having done a lot of walking lately.  Still I am sure we will get use to it.  It is cool and overcast but fortunately not raining st this time.  The sun peeked through the clouds around 2.30pm and then disappeared again for the day.
I think the most outstanding thing again is the sheer volume of bicycles here, they certainly outnumber the vehicles.  You have to be careful we’re you are asking because of them.  Plus of course remembering to look the opposite way than in Oz, that took a couple of close calls to register.
We headed off to Tivoli, but unfortunately it is closed for the winter season and cranks up next month.  Not to worry we had fortunately been here before so not too much of a disappointment to us.  We ended up going around the the Vapiano restaurant for lunch and the meal was excellent, service good, we enjoyed the atmosphere as well.  It was on the first floor so a view out over Tivoli Park.  We could see the workmen working on the exhibits, garden s and stalls obviously getting them ready for the warmer weather and next lot of yearly visitors.
Headed back to the hotel for a short adjournment before heading out again for the afternoon.  It doesn’t feel as cold today unless we are getting use to it.  We did have hat, scarves and gloves on though.
Nice afternoon cuppa and clean up of our cases as our limits drop during these internal flights, allowed 40kg stowed and 10kg hand coming over,  here it is only 23kg and 8kg.  Fortunately neither of our cases weighed over 21 coming so hopefully we should be right otherwise I guess it will be an expense for the additional baggage cost, let’s hope not.
Talk about rip off for room rates, we noticed some people booking in this arvo at 3pm and they are leaving at 5.30am so 14 hours for AUD$325 a room.  Highway robbery I reckon.  Ours was bad enough.
Kel’s gone for a SCAN.  Senior Citizens Afternoon Nap.
We start a new adventure tomorrow from Bergen, Norway  here we come.
