Copenhagen, Denmark
Well we finally woke up and started. New day.  Boy the jet lag hit us this time more so than any other time we have travelled.  Probably a result of the last few months activities.
Bed was good, comfortable, room like most basic but adequate.  No fridge until Kel asked for one to be put in the room.  Weird the guy said they don’t put fridges or clocks in the room these days.  Actually the room is quite sparse of most things.  2 teabags (just as well I packed my own) same with coffee and sugar.  I suppose it is the cost cutting effect.
Have found after spending the day walking around visiting the sights that Copenhagen is an expensive place to visit.  The cost of clothing, shoes etc is quite outrageous really how can the locales afford to live here.  Food is also on the higher end of the costs too.  A steak was in one place as 275DKK which is roughly 78AUD, at another place it was 325DKK.
Lunch we had a panini and drink for 100DKK so around 21AUD, which isn’t too bad in the process.  That was one panini shared between the two of us.
Covered around 12 kms today walking around the streets and sights.  Cool and somewhat cold, enough that we had to go back and get scarves and gloves before venturing out again.

Enjoy, no need to go the the Carlsberg factory or the little mermaid, so stay close to the hotel and relax. We're looking forward to watching this part of the holiday. xxxx
