Caught the sunrise this morning really lovely.  So much snow on the mountains.  Some houses, one wonders what they do for a living really.  Looks like a crisp morning as well.

Only a short stop at Bodo around 1230 to 1500.  During the night and early morning we stopped at Bronnoysund, Sandnessjoen, Nesna and Orens.

0705 we reached the Arctic Circle.  Got our certificates for the Arctic Circle crossing.

Early lunch at 1130 before heading out for Bodo for a look around.  Bigger than the last place we stopped at and more shopping centres in the vicinity of the ship. Had a look for coats for me but nothing found.  Was ice and snow around but not a hindrance to us.  Took some photos around the town.

Back on board for a while, up to the observation lounge on deck 8 for a couple of hours before heading back to the cabin for an hour or so before dinner and getting off later this evening for an hour.

Dinner as absolutely terrible, they did a vegan back to nature dinner this evening, very few people were impressed by it and the alternative was just as bad.  Not a good recommendation for culinary delights. Yuk yuk and more yuk.

We got off at 2115 for a stroll around Svolvaer.  Was cool and snowing but we walk around a kilometre to look around,  nothing much open, the WW2 museum and the Ice Bar, but not much else.  Lots of ice on the road and paths, snowing quite heavily as we were heading back to the ship.  Can’t say we haven’t had any snow.
