Batu Feringgi, Penang, Malaysia
Yesterday was relatively smoke free so we savoured the clear air.We walked down to the market for some fruit but it was very poor so I walked to one of the mini marts and bought some apples to stew.
We headed out to Gurney Plaza and then headed back to the apartment for some sun .
We had to return the car before 9 00 pm.so we endeavoured to make the most of it but I have to say we are using the public transport as it has improved out of sight.
Our dinner at the Monkey Tree was very pleasant ,the food was excellent and the service was satisfactory also.We will certainly return.
The sunset last night was typical for Penang sans smoke!
We are heading across to the Rasa Sayang this evening for drinks with some of the ex pats we have met ,then we will probably have a meal at one of the local restaurants.
We head to Kuala Lumpur on Monday morning,we leave early and the train leaves Butterworth at 8.00.
