We headed for about 3km north towards the lighthouse, sat and watched minimal life go by then meandered back. We found the ultimate beach address with beachfront houses along a quiet Byron-Suffolk Park backroad. We found tanned locals walking dogs. We found guys that seemed far to old to be surfers. We decided we could do 4 months Byron/8 months Melbourne per year.

A heavenly massage, but we rated the facial as overall more blissful. The stones seemed to be a bit of a novelty. A hot spa, a warm shower and then another magnificent dinner.
