At the airport we tried to get the upgrade we'd missed because we had checked in online just before reading the offer but no luck. They told us to try again when we got to Dubai but the answer was no there as well. It wasn't too bad on the plane though because we had three seats for the two of us so we took turns in having a lie down and sleep. Well when I said turns I meant I was able to lie down and sleep for quite a while and then I gave Stephen a little go for the last hour or two.
