Today is the picnic with Violette and some friends. I made a tomato, cucumber and mango salad with coriander and took it to her house but she had a look and told me to keep it for myself because she had made lots of things. It was a good job there were 10 of us to carry the table, chairs and food down to the beach. Our picnic didn't involve as much as the other two groups nearby who also bought huge gas cylinders, drums etc.

Her banquet for us included 3 starters and 10 things for the main meal. The chilli was hot but good. I think I'm getting braver with it. Despite the language barrier we had a lovely time and enjoyed the different type of cuisine.

Rain in the late afternoon on the way home so we timed our day just right.

Tonight just a baked potato I think but of course those prawns needed eating.
