Back to the grind

Siem Reap, Kandal Province, Cambodia
Last day of the holiday and it is back on the plane for the long trip back to Perth.
We got up this morning and had breakfast in the rather steamy restaurant which didn’t seem to have the aircon going at a reasonable rate. They had the doors open to the outside so I gather that mucked it up considerably.
There were a few people sitting outside but it was very warm out there even though it was only 8.00. I think there may be thunderstorms again today.
I managed to get us a later checkout as we don’t get picked up for the plane until 1.45pm and the reception area is a bit hot to be sitting in for almost two hours.
I went down for a swim after breakfast, but again managed to arrive at the same time as the annoying Pommie swimming instructor who takes up the whole deep end of the pool, teaching his little rich kids how to swim. He wasn’t watching them too well as they played in the water though and I thought one little girl was in trouble until she popped up again after the other kids were calling her.
Anyway I did a few laps across the pool and then came back to get my bathers dry before I have to pack.
I’m going to miss all the lovely big pools!
The flights home weren't too bad as we had a spare seat in between us both times. The plane to Perth was only pretty much half full.  I bought some new headphones at Changi airport. Some nice Sennheisers  that were on special, so I was able to plug into the entertainment system.  I couldn't find out about my ones I had lost because the lost and found was outside immigration and we didn't want to have to go through that twice.
We got home at 5am and fell into bed. Now it is the mountain of washing to tackle.
