We're on the 717 on our way to Hobart. It's just a short flight of only an hour and a half. The plane took off like a rocket and since we are in row 2 the ascent felt very steep.
There is business class on this flight and the seats are large and comfortable.

We boarded first and to my enormous surprise, not long after we were joined by none other than the famous comedian Billy Connelly. He is sitting right behind us and is very quiet. I believe he is suffering from Parkinsons disease and it is very sad that he looks quite frail.

Well they are about to serve us with more food as we pass over Phillip Island so I will write more when we reach Hobart.

We made it to Hobart and are in the Travelodge, not far from the airport. It's nice and quiet and the room is big and clean. The weather here is cool and not raining at the moment. We pick up the car tomorrow and will probably head up to Strahan.
