Sarlat Saturday market and Rocamadour

Rocamadour, Midi-Pyrénées, France
Left at 9 AM this morning to go to the Saturday market in Sarlat. Spent about 2.5 hours walking around admiring all the fresh produce and French clothing. It was amazing to see artichokes for 90 cents. Enjoyed a cup of coffee before leaving for Rocamadour, more of a pilgrimage site than anything else. The little town was very touristy. We had a sandwich, and while sitting on the park bench, the Japanese couple we met in Toulouse sat down right next to us. We recognized each other and talked while we ate.   It is really a small world. Before getting on the bus for the trip back to Sarlat, we enjoyed a walnut aperitif and fresh strawberries compliments of Fanny. After arriving back at our hotel, we sat outside on our grassy patio discussing the state of affairs in the US along with other topics with Lorna, one of our travel mates. Had another nice dinner at the hotel. (When you see the pictures with this entry, you will know it was a slow photography day.)
