Arrived at the Las Vegas airport at 5:45 AM (thanks Bob). It was busy with the early morning flights. Got to the gate about 7 AM for our 7:45 flight. Took off for Atlanta on time. We had a 3 hour layover in Atlanta so we had lunch at Chili's in Terminal A before going to Terminal T for our flight to Quito at 5:50 PM. From the looks of the waiting area, it will be a full flight. The wait for takeoff delayed us by 30 minutes but we arrived in Quito only 5 minutes late. The flight was uneventful. Had pasta surprise for dinner. Going through "Migration" and Customs was very efficient. The luggage system was a little archaic-the luggage kept falling off the belt. We were greeted by Celebrity personnel and driven to the Marrioitt. Check-in was well organized. Our room had several fresh roses and the lobby area had many large bouquets. Ecuador is a commercial grower and exporter of roses. Finally got to bed at 12:30AM.
