Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin, Ireland
Camera fixed at Oliver’s in Kilkenny. Shots of river— bridge from Kilkenny Castle grounds. Also of G. & P. by fountain and 1 of fountain & grounds.

Got stamps at Irish tourist office & mailed Helen’s cards .

Photo of Helen, Pat & Geo in Rothe House Museum.

Shots of St. Canice Cathedral— inside (stained glass windows, wood carvings) and out.  2 shots of Kilkenny Castle with fountains in foreground. Photo of church from road into Baltinglass.

Arrived in Dunleary after 7 p.m., after phoning ahead to say we might be late & requesting hold on reservations. (Irish pay phones are similar to other equipment in this country, difficult to use and strange to Yankees).

Paid ₤58 for 2 nights with bathroom (shower & wash-basin) en suite. (Toilet across hall).  Hope to get refund on vouchers (from Aer Lingus after we return home).  Bob drove all the way from Kilkenny to Dunleary with only minor difficulties. Body adjusting to spatial location on left side of road.
