5/24/2014: After looking up the wrong train schedule, we finally made it to Fribourg, near Bern. We made the trip to Fribourg still on time to greet our friend Romy. Romy was a Swiss ex-coworker in Kansas City, Missouri, some 40 years ago. Romy and her husband Bernard live near Fribourg, in the town of Planafaye-s/Glane. Fribourg is a very picturesque and quaint city of 35,000. They took us to Murten where Nelly used to work at Coiffure Anita (formerly Schneider). They also drove us through the countryside of the Jura Range with it's vineyards and the view of Murten Lake. We stayed overnight with our gracious hosts Romy and Bernard. The next day, Sunday, we continued our sightseeing tour of old Town Fribourg and a quaint hotel that belongs to Bernard's son, Les 4 Vents (The 4 Winds), once a private estate.
