OUR RETURN TO FREMANTLE, AUSTRALIA WAS RIGHT ON TIME, EVEN IF WE CIRCUMVENTED A CYCLONE ON OUR WAY FROM THE ISLAND OF MAURITIUS. ONCE WE ARRIVED AT THE FREMANTLE PIER, WE WERE BRISKLY TAKEN BY SHUTTLE TO THE AIRPORT. THE FLIGHT WAS ON TIME AND WE LANDED IN MELBOURNE AROUND 7:30 PM. NEXT, WE TOOK A MELBOURNE BUS SHUTTLE FROM THE AIRPORT ($18 PP) TO THE CLOSEST TRAIN STATION (SOUTHERN CROSS) TO THE KINGSGATE HOTEL, 131 KINGS STREET. WE WALKED THE REMAINING ONE BLOCKS AND BY 8:30 PM WE WERE SAFELY IN OUR HOTEL ROOM: 432. THE REST, AS THEY SAY, IS CRUISE HISTORY! WE ARE HERE FOR SEVEN DAYS BEFORE WE LEAVE FOR THE STATES ON MARCH 1, 2016.
