Today is Saturday, 1/2/2016. Our Jet-Lag finally subsided and we are not feeling so zombie like anymore. We were up at sunrise, believe it or not! Maybe because our internal clock still says USA. We ate breakfast in our hotel room and then ventured out into the sunny downtown jungle of Perth. Since it is a Saturday, the streets are still rather quiet around 8:00 AM. Many stores still have not openned because of the holidays. So we walked along Hay Street to the Hop On Hop Off bus stop. The bus arrived on time and off we went. Here are a few pictures of our city tour.

Wow those are beautiful pictures! I've always wanted to go to Australia. Many years ago when I was teaching in Oregon , I put in for a teacher exchange with a teacher in Australia. Came close to happening, but last minute the other teacher backed out. Wasn't meant to be, I guess. Went to memorial for Ed Miller today. It was very nice.
