INDIAN OCEAN_2ND DAY 1/10/2016

On board the Sun Princess Comedian joke: Announcement over the PA system: "Found, a gold diamond watch. Just want to let the owner know that it keeps perfect time: It is 6:30 PM and it's time for SHOWTIME! "

SUNDAY, 1/10/2016: Today is our second day at sea on the Indian Ocean. Three more days and we will be at our first port, Singapore. It is hard to believe that it takes almost a week to go from Australia to Singapore. But there you have it. Every which way you look, there is only water! There is one good thing about being on board on a ship. And that is that we don’t have to make plans on our own hat place of interest we should visit next.   Are we getting lazy or what? On board our only concern is minimal: “Is it time to eat again?”  That is followed by a siesta or two and a show at the end of the day.

Today, in between siestas, we saw two of the latest movies out in theaters. Of course, you know Jim, his camera tags along with him and he finds many things to photograph around the ship.   We just discovered today that I can’t get to my email (jimjtrujillo@hotmail.com) on the ship. Nelly can’t get into her email (swisskuh@hotmal.com) either.  Because we are on the moving, Hotmail demands confirmation of who I am by sending a code to my phone. Well, guess what, my phone does not work here. So, to communicate with us, please send us a COMMENT via our BLOG (http://www.travelpod.com/members/jjndotr ) or you can even send us a message via FACEBOOK. So far, those are the only two forms of communication we have where we can be reached. Thanks for your patience.

PICTURES WILL BE UPLOADED IN SINGAPORE.... WE HOPE!

Dear Nelly and Jim, thanks for the message from your "Slow Boat" named "M/S Sun Princess", a rather old "Lady", built in 1995 and evidently not quite up to date in matters of wireless communications. At least I can see your ships position in the Indian Ocean during 24 hours of the day. Enjoy your shipping prison - at least you are getting good and enough food and can walk around on - and through - the aged skin and fat body of Her Majesty, named: "Sun Princess".
Greetings from your Cousin Ernst in grey and rainy Switzerland today,

Hey Jim, when your out on deck look for a Sea Snake & have your camera ready. Saw them when I was on the Destroyer in the Indian Ocean and we had a Liberty Call in Singapore. Enjoy! At least you will not be going through the Shellback Initiation when you cross over the Equater. The Garbage Shoot was HELL. The Retired Senior Chief Boe & His Mate Dave.
