While my day was cut short due to some errands, I took some time this day to explore Oslo. I started off by going to the Royal Palace, which isn't very far from the hotel I stayed at.

I then made my way down Karl Johan's gate, the pedestrian street that runs through the city centre . There was a lively atmosphere along the street and a large variety of shops and cafes.

I veered over to the waterfront and walked along Aker Brygge, a boardwalk that was pretty busy and is lined with plenty of shops and restaurants. Oslo has a very scenic coastline and Aker Brygge offers some nice views along it.
