This day marked the beginning of my 5-day tour around the Scottish Highlands.

Our first stop was the village of Dunkeld, where we stopped to grab a bite to eat and toodle around . It's a quaint village and I took a stroll through a small park and checked out Dunkeld Cathedral.

We left Dunkeld and made our way to Cairngorms National Park. We took a very scenic stroll through one of the trails in the park, then made our way to the Highland Folk Museum. It's a quaint outdoor museum with exhibits displaying old houses and farm equipment.

We then travelled on north, through Inverness, and made our way to the northern end of the famous Loch Ness. Though it was a bit cloudy, there were some nice views of the lake (no Loch Ness monster in sight though).

We then travelled on to Scotland's west coast to the town of Ullapool, located on the shores of an inlet called Loch Broom. This is where we would stay for 2 nights. The town itself is quaint and there are some nice views of the surrounding inlet and mountains.
