I was up at 4:20 a.m. so I could finish packing, take a quick shower and be in the reception area for my Uber ride at 5 a.m. My flight was at 7:30, and I was likely giving myself too much time, but I would always rather do that than be rushing. 

My Uber ride, arranged by the man at the front desk last night, didn’t show, so they called me a cab instead. Ten euros and 10 minutes later, we were at the airport. I could’ve taken the metro, but the cab was pretty cheap, and much easier and faster. 

I had my mobile boarding pass and was doing COO (carry-on only), so I went to security and was through that in 15 minutes. The flight to Frankfurt was about 2:40. I had to hustle, but made it. And I received a great seat! See you in USA!
