Holy cow! In two weeks I will be in Costa Rica! It still doesn't seem real.

Interestingly enough, Costa Rica's first female president was elected last week - Laura Chinchilla. It will be interesting to talk to the locals about that topic.

I was excited to discover that I can check in two pieces of luggage, as well as carry on another, for no charge! Because of this, I'm going to check an additional backpack with materials for the orphanage, which can be used for souvenirs on the way home.

Everything is booked - transportation, excursions, etc. Now I just have to wait. And pack. And wait.

It will be a long two weeks.
