We're in Philly!
We have a six-hour layover, so I thought I would write .
So how did my packing list compare to what Rick Steves suggests in his "Ireland 2013" guide? Let's find out.

5 Shirts, long and short sleeve: I think I have 4 packed, and I'll wear one. So that will make 5.
1 sweater or lightweight fleece: One black cardigan for me.
2 pairs pants: I have one. Take that!
1 pair shorts: I have one pair of athletic shorts
5 pairs underwear and socks. 7 pair of underwear and 2 pair of socks for this girl!

1 pair of shoes: That is really funny. One pair of shoes!?! I have two in my bag and wearing one, so 3.
1 rainproof jacket with hood. Check!
Sewing kit. I will buy a new shirt before I figure out how to fix it. No for me.
Money belt: Not bringing one.
Clothesline: That's what racks in the bathroom are for. No for me.


Alarm clock. I'll use the one on my phone.
Swimsuit: He does not suggest this, but our hotel in Limerick has a sweet hot tub, sauna and steam room, so one is needed.

I also have 2 light dresses and 3 skirts. Excessive? I don't think so.
Next time I post I will be in Limerick!
