Short Stay in Dublin

Tuesday, September 10, 2013
Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland
We had a quick stay in Dublin due to arriving here late in the afternoon and then spending an hour on the "16" bus to our hotel. But the driver was nice and told us where our stop was. This morning we were smart and took a cab to the airport.

Still, we managed to have a nice Italian dinner tucked into a little square and walked the streets in the Dublin in the dark . Trinity College was built in the 1500s and is absolutely gorgeous. Dublin also has a major nightlife, especially on Monday nights of all nights. Still, we managed to get to sleep by 11 am and wake up for 5 am. It will be a long day of travel, bu oh well. Our flight connects in Charlotte, then we fly to O'Hare, take the coach bus to Milwaukee and drive home.

Both of us are excited to get home but are also sad to be leaving these two amazing countries. The people, the scenery, the sights, the castles, the food....all wonderful and I definitely want to get back. We packed a lot in around the conference, which made for an interesting 7 days, but it was worth it. I wouldn't do it any other way.

Until next time,
Jamie

I think we just needed a seafood/chips change and it sounded good. Cute, quiet place.
